Reverse Mentoring
ruh.vuhs men.tuh.ruhng
A technique that is used to partner employees in a different way from traditional mentoring, reverse mentoring is a management practice where a senior leader is mentored by an employee with less professional experience. The mentor is often younger and junior in terms of organisational hierarchy, adding value with their knowledge of specific/newer domains.
Also know as ‘reciprocal mentoring’, this technique could benefit your organisation especially if you have a generationally diverse workforce. Every employee needs mentoring in the workplace and this is a great way to involve more employees.
