360 Degree Survey
360 di.gree suh.vhey
A form of employee appraisal that extracts feedback on an employee's performance and provides insight into their strengths. This may also include feedback from clients, vendors, managers, peers and direct reports alike.
The most valuable part of a 360 survey is its ability to provide insight to help employees review and improve their performance more than just once a year. Aside from helping managers track progress and determining compensation or promotions, it helps everyone involved to improve their communication and interactions.
As long as employees are open and willing to incorporate the feedback they get, 360 surveys will help them also learn things about themselves that they would have never discovered otherwise.
